Design is not a one way street.

VRBO solves finding a place, but not planning the trip.

Anything can become beautiful.

This typeface started from a raw, uncomfortable place. The process of shaping it into something refined taught me that the most interesting design often comes from the least expected starting point.

Experimentation is a skill, not an accident.

I stumbled onto the lattice effect, and followed it. I don't draw, but working from a base typeface gave me a structure to push against. Staying open to what the work was becoming mattered more than having a plan.

Everything is alive, connected, and constantly renewing.

REGEN isn't just a name — it's the nature of this work. Every project is a reimagining of the last. Design, like the cells that inspired this typeface, doesn't stay still. Neither do I ;D

What's Next?

REGEN feels like the beginning of something larger. If I had the time, I'd push it into interactive type, where the lattice structure responds to movement or input, making the cellular quality feel genuinely alive on screen.

A full brand identity built around REGEN is also on the table, taking the visual language beyond the letterforms and into a complete design system with its own world.
